You must have held your Learner Licence for a period of 12 months before you can take your P1 Driving test. You also need to complete a total 120 hours of driving which includes 20 hours of night driving.
Students over the age of 25yrs are not required to complete the 120 Log book, however must be able to drive according to the NSW road rules and standards.
Under the NSW rules, driving instructor can sign off on your log book for the Structured Lesson Record Keeper for a total of 10 hours.
1 Hr = 3 hrs
Maximum 10 hours = 30 hrs in total off your day light driving
